"You'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer place, or a better location, or better view anywhere in Port Stanley. The Bridgeway has it all! Our two-year-old daughter loved watching the Bridge go up & down on the half hour, and the incredible panoramic views from the front windows makes for a great place for a morning coffee. On day 2 we locked ourselves out and Grant made sure we didn't miss a beat. Very responsive to any requests, and he and Jane clearly care a lot about what they do, and their reputation on AirBnB."

"We were visiting Canada for my wife’s 50th and knew after seeing the main tourist areas around Toronto that a few days to relax would a nice way to end the trip. As soon as we found Grant and Jane’s place we knew it would be worth the 2 hour drive. Amazing location with great views of the Port. Perfect for a stroll down to the beach with plenty of bars and restaurants along the way. The locals were all very friendly. The vibe reminded us very much of Cornwall in England, except on a lake. Would highly recommend staying here, so much so we asked if we could extend the stay by another night, fortunately for us this was possible. Grant and Jane were great at communicating at every stage of the booking. Not sure why you would want to book anywhere else if looking to visit the area 10/10."

"Fantastic stay in Port Stanley at The Bridgeway! I grew up visiting Port in the summers and it had been 15+ years since my last visit, so I wanted to be in the center of town for easy access. I couldn't believe what we found - this home is truly one of a kind! Renovated with a brand new feel, decorated with immaculate attention to detail that was both relaxing to be in, very open, high ceilings, tons of natural light and absolutely stunning view of the Port Stanley harbour and lift bridge. Bonus for anyone with young children: our 19 month old loved watching the bridge go up, ships go underneath, and all the cars, bike riders, dog walkers etc coming through town! Grant was also super responsive throughout the process- fast booking and friendly communication. Plus- we left behind a couple of items by accident...and Grant and Jane drove them to us a little outside of town! Thanks to you both for sharing your home- we will definitely be back some day! "Impeccably well managed and put together space. The Lofts design and décor are pleasing and inspiring to both the eye and the soul! Tasteful and attractive decorative elements throughout. The bedding is extremely comfortable, very soft sheets, perfect mattress. The space has everything you could need and a surprisingly large deck. Dresser, closet, hooks--plenty of places to put your stuff and feel right at home! Thoroughly modern HVAC, good airflow besides, and lots of natural light. Well-equipped and attractive kitchen, comfy cozy blankets here and there, well thought out lighting. Could not be better located: excellent coffee three doors away, ice cream shop right downstairs (open until 10 pm!), and many restaurants to choose from within a five-minute walk. Easy walk to both beaches, and Port Stanley remains well lit after sundown, making for wonderful late-night walks. Absolute five-star experience, most definitely looking forward to coming back!"

"I grew up in St Thomas and Port Stanley but moved to Toronto 30 years ago. I’ve been renting cottages or accommodations here every summer for 23 years with my family or husband and this is by far the best place! The Bridgeway is beautifully decorated, open concept,, spacious and the views and location are incredible! It’s so fun to look out to the harbour and the draw bridge and see the stunning views from the large windows which overlook the town. There are some really excellent restaurants to choose from and lots to do in the area. Very short walk to Little Beach or the main beach. Also a great walking path from under the draw bridge over to the Pier on main beach ( and of course to ‘Mackies’ for the best fries and hotdogs)! We have now stayed w two of our adult kids and just ourselves at Grant’s place/ The Bridgeway. It’s great for a family, couples and certainly for a relaxing getaway or special occasion. ! You are right in the heart of the restaurants and shops but it’s also super quiet and peaceful! Love it here! Already booked a week for next summer and look forward to returning this Fall! 🍁"
